2023 Knowsley Flower Show

More than 15,000 people visited Court Hey Park in 2023 to be part of the Knowsley Flower Show.

Despite poor weather conditions forcing the cancellation of the Feelgood Festival on Saturday, crowds were undeterred and turned out in force to celebrate the Flower Show’s 25^th Year.

Thankfully, the sun put in an appearance and the show offered something for everyone from magnificent floral displays and live music performances to tempting food and drink, and countless fun activities for the kids, including bubble workshops, circus skills and fairground rides and attractions.

Visitors to the show were wowed by ‘Imagine Bamboo is Everywhere’a project delivered by Imagineer in partnership with Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to highlight the sustainable nature of bamboo and it’s potential for use in design, construction, green innovation, farming and carbon capture across the UK.

There were large-scale artworks made by local artists, with bamboo harvested locally from Ness Botanical Gardens and music from the Imagine Bamboo Orchestra, led by Pagoda Arts with young musicians from across the region. Audiences could also enjoy physical theatre performances, run away with the bamboo circus, then have a go at making their own creations in the bamboo crafting zone.
